Vascuspec joins the Medispec lineup of superior, non-invasive, comfortable, deep penetration ESWT systems, ensuring a high success rate within a relatively short time frame. It is compact and mobile, making it easy to store and move from room to room.
The system is available in two models: compact and desktop.
Recent clinical studies using low intensity shock waves indicate a beneficial effect in the treatment of wounds, both chronic and acute. Low intensity shock waves initiates the production of new blood vessels. This effect, combined with the antibacterial effect, initiates a healing process in skin lesions and stimulates the development of new tissue.
Indications:
Vascuspec can be also used for the treatment of Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD), improving the walking ability of patients PAD condition. Clinical studies have shown that application of low-energy shock wave therapy can restore blood flow in the microcirculation in patients with symptomatic PAD.
