Slimspec™ Speeds the Process of Fading Tattoos
Wave Therapy - What Is It?

Wave Therapy uses pressure waves to help fade undesired tattoos and break apart fat deposits for improvements in skin surface appearance.

Slimspec™ waves are unfocused low pressure waves created by an electromagnetic ballistic mechanism. The laser breaks apart pigment agglomerations into pieces that are so small that they are not visible to the human eye. The transmitted waves travel into the tissue and carry away the pigment particles.

#1 Tattoo Removal is TOO slow!

Most patients find that their laser tattoo removal results to be unacceptably slow – up to two years of laser treatments to fully fade a tattoo. Thus, the number of required sessions is too high, resulting in a high patient dropout rate. For the practitioner and patients, staying the treatment course requires a significant amount of time, effort, and energy.

#2 Tattoo Removal is ineffective. I’m not seeing results.

The ergonomic and reliable Slimspec™ system assists in the clearance of  the laser induced vacuoles, allowing for efficacious multiple laser passes in a single session.

Typically, there is a poor laser tattoo removal response with a single pass per session protocol.

Then, repeated pass efficacy is limited by the laser-induced epidermal and dermal vacuoles which shield residual tattoo pigment from subsequent laser passes. But with the right combination treatment of Slimspec™ and laser technologies, the protocol process is sped up and enables half the overall required treatment time.

#3 Tattoo Removal is too expensive.

Many factors affect the costs of tattoo removal, such as the size, colors, level of education of the technician/medical professional, and the quality of medical equipment. In combination with the widest-reaching wave treatment, Slimspec™, and the fastest pulsing laser, Pico laser, the tattoo removal incurs minimal costs because it cuts the number of treatment sessions by approximately half.

Benefits of Slimspec™

Wave Therapy is Fast, Safe, and Effective

The European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV) Congress reported in 2018 that combination therapies hold more promise in effectively removing tattoos. The nano-second Q-switched lasers (ns-lasers) had previously been considered the gold standard for tattoo clearance, but since then, newer methods such as picosecond lasers (ps-lasers) and combination therapies have offered more effective treatments.

  • Fast – Slimspec™ shows increased lymphatic drainage and metabolic activity, thereby accelerating the clearance of the dermal pigment vacuoles
  • Safe – Virtually no side effects or risks are posed with the combination treatment of laser + Slimspec™
  • Effective – Various clinical studies support the effectiveness of wave therapy + laser combination treatments
Who Needs Slimspec™?

Given the increasing number of tattoos around the world, there will be a growing global demand for tattoo removal. Therefore, dermatologists, medical and aesthetic businesses will need high quality medical equipment to perform fast, effective tattoo removal treatments.

Why do dermatologists require both laser and Slimspec™?

  • There are limitations of using lasers alone for tattoo removal, indicated in clinical studies
  • Combination therapy enables faster, more successful treatments – less effort and time for both patients and doctors

Why do Aesthetics and Medical Businesses require both laser and Slimspec™?

  • Aesthetic businesses can expand their services and reach different populations by using newer, updated protocols
  •  Aesthetic businesses improve patient care and relationships when the services they offer are improved, faster, and more effective
